The Lookout Shootout Boat Poker Run & Fun Run returns to the Crystal Coast on Saturday, August 15, 2026, bringing boaters to Morehead City, North Carolina, for a day of recreational boating, poker-run fun and fundraising on the water.
Hosted by Jack’s on the Waterfront, the event is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Morehead City waterfront. Registration begins at 9 a.m., with the organized fun run scheduled to get underway at 11 a.m.
The Lookout Shootout combines a boat poker run with an organized fun run around North Carolina’s Crystal Coast, giving participants an opportunity to spend the day cruising with other boaters while supporting a charitable cause. The event is centered on recreational boating rather than racing or speed competition.
Each registration helps raise money for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, which supports America’s military members, first responders and their families. Jack’s on the Waterfront is serving as event headquarters and the gathering point for participating crews.
The event begins and ends along the Morehead City waterfront, providing boaters access to the waterways surrounding the Crystal Coast and Cape Lookout area. Participants should arrive early enough to complete registration before the 11 a.m. departure.
