On Saturday, August 8, 2026, Lake St. Clair boaters once again took over Little Muscamoot Bay for the 22nd annual Raft Off — one of the largest and most recognizable boat parties in America.
No tickets. No gates. No grandstands. Just thousands of boaters dropping anchor, throwing lines, tying boats together and transforming the shallow waters near Harsens Island into an enormous floating party.
The Raft Off 2026 Men’s Lake St. Clair Boating T-Shirt was created to remember exactly what that day looked and felt like — boats stretching across Muscamoot Bay, packed swim areas, inflatables everywhere, flags flying, music rolling across the water and one massive crowd spending a summer Saturday exactly where they wanted to be.

Raft Off has become much bigger than an ordinary afternoon tie-up. The annual gathering is known for bringing thousands of boaters into Muscamoot Bay, with enormous lines of boats tied side-by-side and crowds filling the shallow water between them. Previous gatherings have topped 2,000 boats, helping establish Lake St. Clair’s Raft Off as one of the biggest on-water parties anywhere in the country.
And unlike a traditional organized festival, Raft Off remains unmistakably Lake St. Clair. There is no admission gate or assigned parking spot on the water. Boaters show up, set their anchors, put out the bumpers, tie into the line and become part of the event.
