Westler Lake Poker Run

The 19th Annual Westler Lake Poker Run is scheduled for Saturday, July 18, 2026, in LaGrange County, Indiana. Hosted by the Westler Lake Association, the event brings boaters together for a summer day of cards, lake stops, raffles and friendly competition across Westler, Witmer and Dallas Lakes.
The poker run takes place from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Participants visit five designated stops by boat or golf cart, drawing one card and receiving a scorecard stamp at each stop. After collecting all five cards, participants return to Coody Brown’s to complete their hand.
Packet pickup and the day-of-event purchase deadline run from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Coody Brown’s tent. Scorecards must be turned in at Coody Brown’s by 2:45 p.m. to qualify. Participants may also purchase up to two additional cards at the finish.
Prizes will be awarded for Best Poker Hand, Runner-Up, Best Decorated Boat and Best Poker Stop, which will be voted on by participants. The event will also include 50/50 tickets and prize raffles available at Coody’s tent.
Additional packet pickup dates are scheduled ahead of the event, including June 6 at Coody’s, June 13 at Backroads Tavern, June 20 at Backroads Tavern, June 27 at Coody’s, July 3 at Coody’s and July 17 at Coody’s. Boats should be on the water no later than noon, and volunteers will be stationed at each stop to help guide participants.
The Westler Lake Poker Run continues as one of the lake association’s signature summer events, giving the local lake community a full day built around boating, golf carts, poker hands and time together on the water. Party on the Point is scheduled to follow later that evening at The Point on Westler Lake.
