Skiatook Lake Poker Run

The Skiatook Lake Poker Run returns Saturday, August 1, 2026, bringing recreational boaters to CrossTimbers Marina in Sperry, Oklahoma, for a full day of card collecting, live entertainment and summer fun on the water.

This year’s event carries a “Peace, Love, Poker Run” theme, and organizers are welcoming boats of all styles and sizes. Participants will travel across Skiatook Lake while visiting designated card stops and building their poker hands. The event is a recreational boating outing rather than a race, with the winning hand determined by the cards collected rather than boat speed.

Check-in will be held from 10 to 11:45 a.m. at the CrossTimbers Marina Ship Store. The published itinerary lists noon for the first boat to leave the marina and 5 p.m. for the boating portion of the event to return.

Boaters who preregister will receive a complimentary sixth poker card, providing an additional opportunity to improve their hands. The first 100 preregistered participants will also receive a free event T-shirt while supplies last.

The marina celebration will continue with live entertainment by Chameleon Sounds, a seafood boil and food-and-drink specials. The combination of an organized lake run and an evening marina gathering gives participants an opportunity to spend the day boating before returning to CrossTimbers for music, food and time with the Skiatook Lake community.

Advance registration is encouraged, particularly for boaters hoping to receive the extra poker card and commemorative event shirt. The current public event information does not display the registration price, card-stop locations, poker payouts or the cost of additional cards.
