Salty Shuffle Charity Poker Run
The 2nd Annual Salty Shuffle Charity Poker Cruise is set to return to Alabama’s Gulf Coast on Saturday, June 13, 2026, bringing another full day of boating, waterfront entertainment, and charitable fundraising to the scenic Intracoastal Waterway around Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. Designed as a relaxed, family-friendly boating event, the Salty Shuffle combines a poker-style cruise with live music, marina stops, raffles, and community support for an important local cause.
Centered around Legendary Marina & Yacht Club, the event benefits Sea Glass Initiative, a nonprofit organization focused on combating homelessness and housing insecurity throughout Baldwin County.
Organizers describe the Salty Shuffle as a boating event built around the experience of cruising the Intracoastal Waterway rather than speed or competition. Participants will navigate a scenic 10-stop route along the ICW, visiting designated waterfront locations throughout the day to collect poker chips that will later be converted into playing cards during the final hand reveal.
The event is open to all types of boats and welcomes both experienced boaters and families looking to enjoy a summer day on the water. Along the route, participants are encouraged to stop at partnering waterfront venues, enjoy local food and drinks, and support businesses participating in the event.
The day officially begins Saturday morning at Legendary Marina & Yacht Club, where registration and departure activities are scheduled before the poker cruise gets underway. While official event timing lists activities running throughout the day, the cruise itself is expected to take place between approximately 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
After completing the route, participants will return to Legendary Marina for the post-cruise celebration featuring live music, a silent auction, raffles, and awards presentations. Organizers also plan to host a 50/50 raffle along with cash prizes for the best poker hands and a crowd-favorite contest for the best decorated boat.
