Rocky Top Power Run

The 2026 Rocky Top Power Run is set to return to the waters of Norris Lake August 6–8, 2026, bringing another high-energy weekend of performance boating, marina parties, waterfront cruising, and charitable fundraising to East Tennessee.

Organized by Rogers Bros. Detailing, the annual event has quickly become one of the Southeast’s fastest-growing power run gatherings, attracting high-performance boat owners and boating enthusiasts from across the region.

Centered around Stardust Marina and the surrounding LaFollette area, the 3rd annual Rocky Top Power Run blends organized lake cruising with dockside entertainment, nightlife, and charity fundraising — all while showcasing the scenic mountain waterways and marina culture that make Norris Lake one of Tennessee’s premier boating destinations.

Following strong participation numbers in recent years, including more than 100 boats during previous runs, organizers expect another major turnout for the 2026 event. The Rocky Top Power Run is designed as a leisure-paced fun run rather than a race, allowing participants to enjoy the lake’s massive network of marinas, coves, and waterfront destinations throughout the weekend.

The event schedule begins Thursday evening with an early-bird tie-up gathering and a downtown street party in LaFollette, giving participants an opportunity to socialize before the main lake activities begin. Throughout Friday and Saturday, boaters will navigate Norris Lake’s expansive shoreline while visiting more than five official marina stops as part of the organized run itinerary.

Organizers say the route is designed to showcase many of the lake’s more than 20 marinas while creating opportunities for raft-ups, dock parties, lunch stops, and social gatherings throughout the day. Participating boats typically include offshore catamarans, V-bottoms, center consoles, cruisers, and custom performance builds from across the Southeast and Midwest boating scene.

In addition to the boating itself, the Rocky Top Power Run also serves as a charitable fundraiser supporting both Care Camps and the Goodboy Vodka Foundation. Organizers continue emphasizing the event’s goal of combining the boating lifestyle with community impact and charitable giving.

The weekend atmosphere is known for its combination of high-performance boating and social entertainment, including dinner parties, marina gatherings, tie-ups, and a grand finale celebration often featuring fireworks and live entertainment around the lake.

Registration pricing for the 2026 event is currently listed at $225, with organizers encouraging early registration as participation numbers continue growing each year.
