Richland Chambers Poker Run

The 2026 Benefit RC Fundraiser & Poker Run will take place Saturday, July 18, 2026, on Richland Chambers Lake near Corsicana, Texas. Benefit RC says it has raised more than $681,000 for local volunteer fire departments through community support and sponsors. The organization lists several supported departments on its site, including 287 RC Volunteer Fire Department, Eureka Volunteer Fire Department, Kerens Volunteer Fire Department, Mildred Volunteer Fire Department, and Southern Oaks Volunteer Fire Department.

The organization’s history traces the poker run to a concern over emergency response resources around Richland Chambers Lake. Benefit RC says the idea began after a health scare while fishing on the lake, which led to the creation of a fundraiser supporting area volunteer fire departments.

The Benefit RC Fundraiser & Poker Run remains one of Richland Chambers Lake’s established community boating fundraisers. With the 2026 date now listed for July 18, the event is expected to bring together boaters, local residents, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters for another day of poker run activity, food, auctions, music, and fundraising for the lake-area fire departments.
