Poor Man's Yacht Club Poker Run

The PMYC Poker Run takes place Saturday, May 9, 2026, in the Slidell, Louisiana area, bringing boaters together for a full day on the water and a run through several Northshore waterfront stops.

The event runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is open to the public. Poker hands are $60 per hand, with participants competing for cash prizes throughout the day. The event awards $1,700 for first place, $400 for second place, and $250 for third place. Jokers are also available for $60.

The poker run route includes stops at The Blue Crab, GilliGil’s Island, The Landing, Phil’s Marina Cafe, Tammany Yacht Club, and Castaway’s Daiquiris. The event highlights Slidell’s active boating community while bringing together local restaurants, marinas, sponsors, and participants for a Memorial Day-season day on the water.
