Poker Run on Tims Ford Lake

Poker Run on Tims Ford Lake

The 2026 Poker Run on Tims Ford Lake is set to bring another exciting day of boating, lake life, and friendly competition to Middle Tennessee this summer. Hosted by the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce, the event will take place on Saturday, June 20, 2026, across several marinas surrounding beautiful Tims Ford Lake.

Boaters from across the region are expected to gather for the annual lake-wide poker run, where participants travel by boat to participating marina stops, collecting one playing card at each location in hopes of building the best five-card poker hand by the end of the day. The event combines relaxed summer boating with lighthearted competition, making it one of the more family-friendly and accessible poker run events on the Tennessee boating calendar.

Registration begins at 9:30 AM, with the official event running from 10:00 AM until 2:30 PM. Participants can begin the poker run from any participating marina, allowing boaters flexibility to explore the lake at their own pace throughout the day.

Entry fees are set at just $10 per poker hand, and participants may purchase as many hands as they wish. Each hand purchased also includes one raffle ticket for door prize giveaways scheduled during the afternoon wrap-up festivities.

This year’s event will award a $500 cash prize for the best poker hand, along with a fun consolation prize for the worst hand of the day. All completed hands must be turned in by 2:30 PM at the Winchester Bass Club, where organizers will announce winners and hold prize drawings to close out the afternoon.

The 2026 route includes several popular marinas and waterfront destinations around Tims Ford Lake, giving participants plenty of opportunities to enjoy the lake’s restaurants, shops, and boating atmosphere throughout the day. Participating stops include:

• Twin Creeks Marina
• Holiday Landing Marina
• Bluegill Grill
• Tims Ford Marina
• Lakeview Marina — a new stop added for 2026
• Winchester Bass Club

Organizers are also encouraging participants to support local businesses throughout the day by stopping for food, drinks, and shopping at the various marinas and lakefront locations participating in the event.

The Franklin County Chamber of Commerce has also announced additional giveaways and surprises leading up to the event, while event sponsor Lifetime Docks & Lifts helps support this year’s poker run festivities.

With scenic cruising, marina hopping, raffles, cash prizes, and a relaxed lake atmosphere, the 2026 Poker Run on Tims Ford Lake is shaping up to be one of the most enjoyable summer boating events in Tennessee for casual boaters and lake enthusiasts alike.
