Panther Bay Party
The 2026 Panther Bay Party is scheduled for Saturday, August 1, 2026, beginning at 2 p.m. in Panther Bay on Kentucky Lake near Dover, Tennessee. The annual gathering brings boaters together for an afternoon of live music, swimming, floating and one of the lake’s established summer cove parties.
The event follows a traditional raft-up format rather than a poker run with card stations or a designated cruising route. Participating boats gather inside Panther Bay, anchor nearby or tie together when space and conditions allow. Crews can spend the afternoon listening to music, relaxing in the water and socializing with other members of the Kentucky Lake boating community.
Previous editions have also been promoted as the Panther Bay Cove Party and Panther Bay Boat Bash. Past events have featured musician Randall French performing from the roof of a houseboat beginning at 2 p.m., creating a floating concert atmosphere inside the cove. The final 2026 entertainment lineup and performance schedule should be confirmed through organizers before the event.

Boats joining the raft-up should carry dependable anchoring equipment and enough fenders and lines to protect neighboring vessels. Every group should also designate a sober operator and follow all Tennessee boating regulations.
With its protected cove setting, live entertainment and relaxed on-the-water format, the Panther Bay Raft Up is expected to continue as one of the Kentucky Lake area’s recurring summer boating gatherings.
