Nolin Lake Raft Up

The 2026 Nolin Lake Raft Up is set to return to the waters of Nolin River Lake on Saturday, July 11, 2026, bringing one of Kentucky’s largest lake charity gatherings back to Conoloway Bay for another day centered around boating, community, and giving back.

Organized as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) charitable event, the Nolin Lake Raft Up has become one of the region’s most recognized summer boating traditions while raising critical funding for underprivileged youth and families throughout Grayson, Hart, and Edmonson counties. What began as a local lake gathering has continued to grow each year, now drawing hundreds of boats and thousands of participants to the massive raft-up event on the water.

Following a hugely successful 2024 event that attracted more than 500 boats and raised over $60,000, organizers have announced an ambitious fundraising goal of $70,000 for the 2026 gathering. Funds raised throughout the event directly support children and families across the local region through a wide variety of outreach programs and emergency assistance initiatives.

One of the event’s most impactful programs is its partnership with local “Shop with a Cop” efforts during the Christmas season, helping provide holiday gifts for children in need throughout the surrounding communities. Donations from the raft-up also help purchase school supplies, clothing, shoes, food, and other essentials for families facing financial hardship throughout the year.

Organizers additionally assist families dealing with major life crises, including households caring for children battling cancer as well as families recovering from natural disasters and unexpected emergencies. The event’s strong local focus has helped turn the Nolin Lake Raft Up into more than just a summer boating party — it has become one of the region’s largest grassroots charitable efforts connected to the lake community.

The annual event itself transforms Conoloway Bay into a floating gathering of pontoons, center consoles, wake boats, cruisers, fishing boats, and performance boats, all tied together in one massive raft-up celebration. Participants spend the day socializing on the water while supporting fundraising efforts through merchandise sales, donations, sponsorships, raffles, and community partnerships. Unlike traditional poker runs or speed-focused boating events, the Nolin Lake Raft Up focuses heavily on community participation and family-friendly lake culture. The event welcomes boaters of all ages and experience levels, helping create a relaxed atmosphere centered around music, camaraderie, and charitable giving.
