New York City Poker Run

New York City Poker Run

The National Powerboat Association’s 30th Annual New York City Powerboat Poker Run is set for Saturday, August 22, 2026, bringing another major offshore boating weekend to Long Island Sound and the New York City waterfront. Produced by the National Powerboat Association, the annual event continues to attract performance boaters from across the Northeast for a day of organized cruising, poker run stops, and skyline boating through one of the most recognizable waterways in the country.

The 2026 event will be headquartered at The Cove Restaurant & Oyster Bar, located on Long Island’s North Shore in Glen Cove. Participants are required to arrive for check-in no later than 10:00 AM on event morning before the official poker run departures begin.

Known as one of the Northeast’s longest-running poker run organizations, the National Powerboat Association has spent decades organizing offshore boating events throughout Long Island Sound and New York Harbor. The NYC Poker Run remains the organization’s signature event and is widely recognized throughout the Northeast performance boating scene.

The poker run route traditionally features organized cruising through Long Island Sound and portions of the New York City harbor system, offering participants dramatic skyline views alongside offshore boating and waterfront gathering stops. Offshore catamarans, center consoles, V-bottoms, and custom performance boats are all expected to participate.

Early entry registration for the 2026 event is currently priced at $399 through August 21, 2026. After that date, standard registration increases to $599.

Participants requiring travel lift services must schedule appointments no later than August 17, 2026. Organizers note that lift arrangements can be coordinated directly through SHM Marinas.

In addition to the poker run itself, the weekend typically includes dockside gatherings, waterfront dining, sponsor displays, awards presentations, and nightlife events throughout the Glen Cove and Long Island boating areas.

With offshore boats running beneath New York City bridges, organized poker stops across Long Island Sound, and one of the strongest performance boating communities in the Northeast, the 2026 NYC Powerboat Poker Run is once again shaping up to become one of the region’s premier offshore boating weekends.
