Milford Lake Ink & Glow Boat Party

The Milford Lake Ink & Glow Boat Party will bring boaters together Saturday, Aug. 15, 2026, for a full day and evening of recreational boating, socializing and illuminated boats on Milford Lake in Kansas.

The event is scheduled from 11 a.m. until 11:55 p.m. and is centered around the Nudie Beach area of the lake. Boaters are encouraged to arrive during the day, spend time on the water and remain into the evening as the gathering transitions into its nighttime glow-party atmosphere.

During the daytime portion of the event, participants can raft up, swim, socialize and show off their boats while enjoying a summer afternoon on Milford Lake. Organizers are also encouraging attendees to “show off their ink,” tying the tattoo theme into the daytime gathering.

After sunset, the focus will shift to illuminated boats, neon lighting and the glow-party portion of the event. Boaters are encouraged to decorate their vessels with lights and other glow-themed accessories before gathering near Nudie Beach for the evening.

The Ink & Glow Boat Party is designed as an informal recreational boating gathering rather than a race or competitive event. There is no poker component or timed boating route, allowing participants to arrive, raft up and enjoy the lake at their own pace.
