Manchac Spring Poker Run
The Manchac Boater’s Association Spring Poker Run 2026 is scheduled for Saturday, May 16, 2026, bringing local boaters together for a full day of poker run stops, waterfront gatherings, and friendly competition throughout the Manchac boating region of Louisiana. The annual spring event is organized by the Manchac Boater's Association and is expected to attract recreational boaters and marina traffic throughout the surrounding waterways.
According to event organizers, registration and sign-up activities will take place from 9:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Gator's Den, with the first poker card scheduled to be dealt at 11:00 a.m. Participants will then travel between designated poker run stops collecting cards before returning to Gator’s Den later in the afternoon for final scoring and prize determination.
The 2026 poker run will feature several stops throughout the area including Gator’s Den, Fuel Dock, Middendorf’s, Warsaw Bar, Lakeside, Sun Buns, Boopalu’s, and Riverside Marina. Organizers stated that participants must turn in at least five poker cards to qualify for scoring, with the best five-card poker hand winning the event.
Registration is listed at $65 per hand, with additional poker cards available for $5 each during sign-up. Organizers also noted that participants must return all poker envelopes by 4:00 p.m. with no exceptions. Event rules specify that envelopes opened before official scoring will result in immediate disqualification.
The Spring Poker Run continues to serve as one of the local boating season kickoff events for the Manchac area, bringing together boaters for a relaxed day of cruising between waterfront restaurants, marinas, and bars across the region. The event is expected to draw a mix of recreational boats, fishing boats, pontoons, and performance boats throughout the day.
