Lana’s Love Choo Choo Fun Run
The Lana’s Love Choo Choo Fun Run is scheduled for Thursday, July 23, through Saturday, July 25, 2026, on the Tennessee River in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The three-day gathering brings performance and recreational boaters together for two days of organized river cruising, group meals, scenic tie-ups and a Saturday-night dinner and poker event.
Participants are expected to cover approximately 140 miles during the two boating days. Friday’s route will take boats north from downtown Chattanooga to Chickamauga Dam, where the group will lock through before continuing upriver for lunch. After lunch, boaters are scheduled to continue to a group tie-up, weather and river conditions permitting. 91 Octane Fuel is available on the water.
Saturday’s route will travel approximately 30 miles downriver through the Tennessee River Gorge. The run is designed around the scenery of the river rather than speed, with no scheduled card stops or competitive racing. Participants will pick up their included lunch before departing and will gather for a group tie-up beneath Interstate 24.
The $375 boat registration includes admission for one captain and one navigator, two short-sleeve event shirts, two Friday lunches, two Saturday lunches, two Saturday-night dinners and one poker hand per boat. Additional passengers may be registered for $100 each, which includes an event shirt, meals on Friday and Saturday and admission to the Saturday-night dinner. Additional poker hands and individual cards will be available for purchase during the evening event.
Arrival registration is scheduled from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday at the downtown marina. Participants launching at Tennessee Riverpark, located at 4301 Amnicola Highway, should move their trailers to one of the designated overflow trailer lots after launching. Paid gated boat parking is available, and participants using that area must contact the organizer.
Registration will reopen from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday and Saturday. Saturday’s drivers’ meeting is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. in front of the marina. The final dinner and poker event will be held in the first-floor conference room at SpringHill Suites, with doors opening at 6 p.m. and food served from approximately 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Lana’s Love Foundation organizes the event as part of its work supporting children and families facing pediatric cancer. Participants must provide proof that their boats are insured for public liability and property damage, and all attendees will be required to sign the event waiver onsite. Registration payments may be submitted online through Lana’s Love or mailed with the completed boat-registration form.
