Lake Mead Yacht Club Props Poker Run

The Lake Mead Yacht Club will host its 2026 Poker Run on Saturday, August 22, bringing boaters together for a full day of recreational cruising, card stops and prizes on Lake Mead near Boulder City, Nevada.

The event is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will operate from the Lake Mead Yacht Club at Callville Bay Marina. Participants will travel across Lake Mead while visiting designated poker stops and collecting cards toward their final hands.

Poker hands are $30 each, and participants may purchase multiple hands. The 2026 run will feature five regular poker stops along with a bonus stop, giving boaters an additional opportunity to take part in the day’s competition. Event t-shirts are $20.

Organizers have announced a total prize pool of $4,500 for this year’s event. The poker run is based on the strength of the cards collected during the day rather than speed, making it a recreational boating event rather than a race.

The bonus-stop location for the 2026 run has been identified as Hallett Cove 2.0. Participants who register will receive current event instructions and a map showing the poker-stop locations.

Poker Run T-shirts are also available through the Lake Mead Yacht Club. Registration is open through the club’s website, and boaters may purchase as many poker hands as they choose.

The Lake Mead Yacht Club is a social boating organization, and its public events are not limited to club members. The annual poker run gives boaters an opportunity to spend the day exploring Lake Mead while participating in a casual poker competition and gathering with other members of the local boating community.
