22nd Annual Lions Lake Martin Charity Poker Run

This highly anticipated event raises thousands of dollars for local charities and is a great way to spend a day on the water. And this year, the cash prizes are bigger than ever!
Participants will start at Kowaliga Marina for registration and to draw their first card. Then, they’ll travel the lake drawing cards at Real Island Marina, BoonDocks at Bay Pine, River North Marina and The Ridge Marina hoping to score the winning hand. This year, there will be LIVE music from Shades of Gray and food from Chick-fil-A at The Ridge Marina.
Entry fee is $200 which includes an official Poker Run t-shirt, a Lake Martin summer t-shirt, a Russell Marine bag, koozies and a boat flag. Registration is available at The Ridge Marina as well as online. Early registration is encouraged as the event has sold out the last couple of years. Participants under 18 may enter with a parent or a guardian. Poker Run winners will be announced at The Ridge Marina at 4pm (winners must be present).
Over the years, the Lions Lake Martin Charity Poker Run has raised approximately $320,000 to touch peoples’ lives through local charities. This is truly one of the best events on the lake all year! Crews dress up in themes, decorate their boats and have a great time. We’ve seen Dogs at Poker, Pirates, Martians, Gilligan’s Island, Mermaids—you name it. Just when we think we’ve seen it all, someone gets creative and breaks the mold! They are competing for prize money, after all.
After checking in at Kowaliga Marina, participants draw a card from five different marina locations on Lake Martin hoping to build the winning hand. Travel from Kowaliga Marina to Real Island to Harbor Pointe, then River North and The Ridge. Costumes and boats are judged at each stop, and the winners are announced at the after party at The Ridge Marina (must be present to win), where there will be food, prizes and live music.
