The Lake Champlain Poker Run draws speedboat enthusiasts from all over the USA and Canada for a weekend of boating and events to support our charity, Camp Ta-Kum-Ta, a non-profit camp located on Lake Champlain for kids who have or have had cancer and their families.
Highlights of the Lake Champlain Poker Run include a welcome event at the Burlington Boathouse, awards celebration, a Saturday after-party, a donation ceremony, and of course, the poker run itself, where boaters will cruise around a scenic course on Lake Champlain collecting their poker hand!
The Lake Champlain Poker Run is NOT a race. There is a registration limit of 75 boats; please sign up early if you'd like to register!
BOAT REGISTRATION
Registration for participating, non-sponsor, power boats.
Boat Registration includes:
- Access for 2 people to all LCPR land events
- 2 T-shirts
- 1 poker hand
Boat slips and additional crew passes are available to add to your registration for an additional cost.
MARINAS
There are two main marinas that host our Lake Champlain Poker Run boaters each year, the Burlington Harbor Marina, and the Burlington Community Boathouse Marina. Both marinas are located in short walking distance to restaurants, hotels, shopping, and more. The Burlington Boathouse provides prime dock slips for our LCPR Sponsor Boats (included with sponsor registration), and the Burlington Harbor Marina provides dock slips for LCPR registered boats. We also provide a boat taxi to shuttle people between marinas on Friday and Saturday.

The Burlington Community Boathouse Marina offers dockage, services and a fantastic dockside restaurant,Splash. This marina is where our Sponsor Boats are assigned. It is home to our welcome party, captains meeting, and afterparty. The Boathouse is the closest walking commute to hotels, Church Street Marketplace, and restaurants, and recreational paths

Burlington Harbor Marina is just a quick boat taxi (provided for event) or walk to the Burlington Boathouse. It is a little more tucked away from the nightlife making it a great marina for an overnight stay on the boat. Burlington Harbor Marina has easy walking access to parks, recreation, and amenities including downtown Burlington’s Church Street market place, restaurants, shopping, bike paths, walking trails, breweries, entertainment, and more.
HOTELS
The three hotels recommended for overnight accommodations LCPR weekend are the Hilton Burlington Lake Champlain, The Hilton Garden Inn, and the Courtyard Burlington Harbor. Ambassador and Platinum Level Sponsors will receive a sponsor booking code for the Hilton Burlington Lake Champlain, and the Hilton Garden Inn on a first come first served basis.
