Green River Raft Up

The 2026 Green River Lake Raft Up is scheduled for Saturday, July 25, 2026, in Party Cove on Green River Lake near Campbellsville, Kentucky. This year’s gathering features a Jimmy Buffett theme, inviting boaters to bring their boats, tropical decorations, island attire and friends for a full day of floating, music and summer fun.

The event follows a traditional raft-up format, with boaters gathering together in the cove rather than following a poker-run route or competing in a timed event. Participants can anchor nearby, tie up with other boats when conditions allow, enjoy the water and spend the afternoon surrounded by the Green River Lake boating community. Previous editions of the annual raft-up have taken place in the Butler Creek area of the lake.

The event flyer promotes fish, wings and additional food options, along with cold beverages, frozen drinks, music, games and floats. Everyone is invited, and no advance registration or admission price is listed in the current event information. Boaters should bring their own lake-day supplies, properly sized life jackets, anchoring equipment and anything else needed for an afternoon on the water.

The Jimmy Buffett theme gives participants an opportunity to decorate their boats and dress in tropical, Parrothead-inspired attire. Following the raft-up, boaters are invited to continue the celebration at Tucker’s Tiki Bar and Restaurant. The official after-party is expected to include live music, drinks and tropical entertainment at Tucker’s Tiki, located at 1293 Lone Valley Road in Campbellsville. Green River Lake is one of central Kentucky’s established recreational boating destinations, with marina access, boat rentals and miles of water for cruising, fishing and lake-day gatherings.
