Great Cape Raft Up & Beach Bash

The 1st Annual Great Cape Raft Up & Beach Bash will bring Cape Cod boaters together Friday, August 7, 2026, for a day of swimming, beach activities and raft-up fun at Tarpaulin Cove on Naushon Island.
Hosted by Bosun’s Marine Mashpee, the new pleasure-boating event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Participants are invited to cruise to the cove, anchor alongside other boats and spend the day enjoying one of Cape Cod’s best-known recreational boating destinations.
Tarpaulin Cove offers ample anchoring space, clear water and access to a pebbled shoreline. Boaters may swim or paddle ashore, snorkel near the old jetty, explore the beach or relax aboard their boats with views of the historic Tarpaulin Cove Lighthouse.
Complimentary food and beverages will be available during the gathering, including offerings from Cap’n Mike’s Tiki Boat and the Sea Scoops Ice Cream Boat. Beach games and friendly competitions are also planned throughout the afternoon.
The event is designed as a relaxed, family-friendly gathering rather than a race or competitive boating run. Bosun’s Marine is inviting its customers and members of the local boating community to meet fellow boaters, reconnect with friends and help establish the raft-up as a new annual Cape Cod tradition.
Advance registration is requested so organizers can prepare food, refreshments and activities for the expected attendance. The event does not list an admission fee. A rain date is scheduled for Friday, August 14.
