Golden Eagle Poker Run

The 28th Annual Golden Eagle Poker Run is scheduled for Saturday, June 13, 2026, on Lake Eufaula, continuing a long-running tradition as Lake Eufaula’s original poker run event. Hosted at Nine Marina, the annual event brings together boaters, motorcycle riders, car enthusiasts, and lake visitors from across Oklahoma and surrounding states for a full day of poker hands, themed costumes, marina stops, and cash prizes.

Organized by the Lake Eufaula Association, the 2026 edition will once again take place on the second Saturday in June and will feature this year’s official theme, “Super Heroes & Sidekicks.” Organizers are encouraging participants to dress in themed costumes throughout the day as teams travel around the lake collecting poker cards at designated stops.

Early registration for the event is currently open through April 30, with pricing set at $225 per hand before increasing to $250 beginning May 1. Participants can complete the poker run route by boat, motorcycle, or car while competing for payouts awarded to the top five poker hands at the conclusion of the event.

In addition to the poker hand competition itself, organizers announced several additional prize categories and cash giveaways for 2026, including $1,000 in Costume Cash prizes and more than $2,500 in Mystery Cash cards distributed throughout the event. The costume competition has become one of the event’s more recognizable traditions, with crews often arriving in coordinated superhero-themed outfits and decorated vehicles.

The Golden Eagle Poker Run has grown into one of the signature summer events on Lake Eufaula over nearly three decades, combining lake cruising, social gatherings, marina traffic, and charity fundraising into one of the busiest boating weekends of the season in eastern Oklahoma.

Organizers describe the event as open to both competitive poker run participants and casual lake visitors looking to enjoy a day on the water with friends, themed entertainment, and waterfront festivities around the lake region.
