Friends of Claytor Lake Poker Run

The 2026 Friends of Claytor Lake Poker Run is scheduled for Saturday, August 22, 2026, on Claytor Lake in Pulaski County, Virginia. The fundraiser supports the mission of Friends of Claytor Lake, with proceeds helping fund lake cleanup, safety, and conservation efforts.

The event is open to all types of boats and personal watercraft. Registration begins at 11 a.m., with the run scheduled to launch at noon from Rock House Marina. The event will end back at Rock House at 3:30 p.m. for prizes, music, and food.

Registration is $30 per boat, which includes two poker hands. M21 Boat customers may receive one extra hand purchased by M21. Participants can save $5 by pre-registering through info@focl.org.

The poker run route includes five stops on Claytor Lake. A map and stop list will be provided on the day of the event. Boaters will collect cards throughout the run before returning to Rock House Marina for the post-run gathering.

The event is designed as a relaxed lake fundraiser, combining a day on the water with music, food, prizes, and support for FOCL’s ongoing work on Claytor Lake.
