Cedar Creek Lake Poker Run

The 2026 Cedar Creek Lake Poker Run will take place Saturday, July 18, 2026, with registration, poker hands, live music, food trucks, auctions, and a grand finale party planned as part of the annual lake fundraiser. The event is organized by the Cedar Creek Lake Parrot Head Club and raises money for local nonprofit organizations around the lake community.
The weekend begins Friday, July 17, with registration and a silent auction at the Plowboys Club. Friday registration is scheduled from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., while the silent auction begins at 4 p.m. and closes at 8 p.m. Registration continues Saturday, July 18, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Plowboys Club before the poker run begins at 11 a.m.
Participants will travel by boat or car to four different homes on the lake, collecting cards and refreshments at each stop. After the run, participants will meet at Tom Finley Park for the grand finale party from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The grand finale will include live music, food trucks, pizza by the slice, and ice cream. The live auction is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m., and cash prizes will be awarded to the top poker hands. The flyer lists $600 for first place, $250 for second place, and a surprise prize for third place.
The event fee is listed at $25 per person, and registration is open to the public. Participants do not need to know how to play poker to take part, and the event can be completed by boat or by car.
The Cedar Creek Lake Parrot Head Club says last year’s poker run and auction raised more than $130,000, with all proceeds donated back into the community. The flyer also notes that the club donated to 62 different local nonprofit organizations last year.
The Cedar Creek Lake Poker Run continues as one of the lake community’s major summer fundraisers, combining a casual poker run format with auctions, music, food, and local nonprofit support.
