Art Lilly Memorial Poker Run
Art Lilly Memorial Poker Run is scheduled for Friday, August 14, and Saturday, August 15, 2026, on the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland. Hosted by the Chesapeake Bay Power Boat Association, the two-day event brings performance-boat owners and passengers together for a waterfront welcome party, a multi-stop poker run and fundraising in memory of offshore racing legend and former CBPBA member Art Lilly.
The weekend begins Friday from 4 to 7:30 p.m. with a welcome party and participant check-in at Red Eye’s Dock Bar in Kent Narrows. The Friday gathering includes an appetizer buffet and gives participating crews an opportunity to check in before Saturday’s run.
Saturday begins at 9 a.m. at Pusser’s Restaurant and Lighthouse Point Marina in Baltimore. Participants will receive a full breakfast buffet and attend the required captains’ meeting before beginning the poker run. The fleet is scheduled to travel north to The Shanty Bar at Tolchester Marina for a noon stop, followed by Waterman’s Crab House in Rock Hall at 2 p.m.
The final stop is scheduled for 4 p.m. at Fisherman’s Crab Deck in Kent Narrows. Participants will gather there for dinner, the playing of poker hands and the official conclusion of the run. The course gives crews an opportunity to cruise the Chesapeake Bay while visiting several of Maryland’s established waterfront boating destinations.
Captain packages are priced at $550 for CBPBA members and $635 for nonmembers. Each captain package includes Friday appetizers, Saturday breakfast and dinner for two people, two event giveaways, a special thank-you item and one poker hand. Rider packages are $195 and include the scheduled meals and one giveaway, while additional poker hands are available for $80 each. Part of every package will be donated to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
Registration and advance payment are required by Saturday, July 25. Captains must provide proof of current boat insurance and vessel information, attend the captains’ meeting and complete the required safety inspection. The event is rain or shine, all sales are final and participation remains subject to approval by the Chesapeake Bay Power Boat Association.
The inaugural Art Lilly Memorial Poker Run attracted 42 boats and approximately 200 participants in 2025. Led by members of the Lilly family and the Chesapeake Bay performance-boating community, the first event raised more than $5,000 for the Parkinson’s Foundation and established the memorial run as a new annual tradition.
